The Messenger is a post-hardcore band from California. They could be considered a myspace band if your into those kinds of bands. However this band makes some of the better music you'll find from myspace bands. They sound like a mixture of From First To Last with Sonny Moore and Pierce The Veil. The lead singer sounds almost identical to Sonny on Heroine at some points with the way he sort of talk/sing/yells all at the same time. The Messenger is one of the more pop oriented post-hardcore bands but there's nothing wrong with it they make it work and write catchy hooks. This band isn't unique by any means but they still make decent music and will at least have some of their songs stuck in your head.myspace
